Events Manager (Part-time)
We are looking for an Event’s Manager to oversee the venue planning, coordination & execution of events at our Williamsburg location and would include Fort Greene once its complete with additional hours. Person must have atleast 3 years event management experience in a restaurant or event venue setting. This position is part-time with the potential of full time. We are known for small casual Brooklyn style events with a lot of baby showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome events, bridal showers & micro-weddings. We are looking for someone to help streamline and grow this!
Job Description :
-Event Sales include large group reservations - manage inbox, prepare contracts, invoice & run of show, kitchen BEO
- Act as point of contact onsite & manage client communications throughout whole event
-Oversee event operations including managing event staff, following run of shows, ensuring proper set ups
- Ensure facility is maintained properly and coordinate with Porters or necessary service techs to do so
- Update Event Offerings as needed
- Ensure that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed by entire events team
-Grow our events program
Hours : 20-25 hours per week
Pay : $650 base pay a week 4% admin commission
