What does a Procurement Buyer do?
You will collaborate business stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies to maximize value for the business. This includes developing long term strategies, leading sourcing events, negotiating contract terms; leading supplier performance management; and identifying continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
Your goal is to become a trusted business partner who creates competitive advantage for Bacardi through strategy development, operational excellence, and driving improvements in total cost of ownership, service, quality, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
* Utilizes strategic sourcing methodology to develop category strategies, source, negotiate contracts and manage suppliers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) models, ensure speed to market, value creation and risk mitigation.
* Leverages expertise in Packaging, suppliers, and cost drivers to manage financial risk, ensure quality and service, and drive sustainability objectives.
* Collaborates with other Bacardi stakeholders and departments to create synergies to drive optimal value to the organization.
* Proactively works with suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement and technology which ultimately leads to a competitive advantage for Bacardi.
* Serves as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners including Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Quality..
* Work closely with Sr. Manager of Procurement, Procurement Finance, and Suppliers to identify cost reduction programs.
* Lead cross functional teams through a sourcing and project management process to support supply management and operations objectives.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
* 1-4 years of Supply Chain experience, with at least 1-2 years of direct buying/sourcing experience preferred.
* Experience in contract negotiation, including development of negotiating plans and strategies, Statement of Works, and executing Master Services Agreements, required.
* Ability to demonstrate proven results in delivering cost savings, cash, and service improvements, required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using business analytics tools, preferred.
* Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and Food & Beverage experience, preferred.
* Experience with eSourcing tools and SAP.
* Excellent PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
