Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient shift and kitchen management, and overall success of the restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff
- Ensure efficient kitchen management, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory control
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Monitor and manage cash handling procedures
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and reporting
- Implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional dining experiences
- Proven experience in shift management and kitchen management within the restaurant industry
- Knowledge of inventory control practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Excellent team management skills to motivate and develop staff members
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting
- Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
