Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Supervisor to join our team. The Shipping Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our products.

Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize shipping logistics.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for freight arrangements.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance shipping efficiency.
- Monitor profit loss related to shipping costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee materials management for packaging and shipping supplies.
- Drive continuous improvement in shipping processes to meet quality standards.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role within the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices.
- Knowledge of materials management and warehouse operations.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with 3PL partnerships.
- Background in freight management.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of profit loss analysis in shipping operations.
