Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking an experienced Reading Support Interventionist to service a school for the 2024-2025 school year in person in Dover, DE area.

This is a great opportunity as a part-time position for the educator who wants to stay involved in their passion. Our interventionist will work in a 1 : 1 or small group setting with 1st-8th grade students and devise individualized strategies to help the students accelerate their reading and comprehension skills while working closely with the school's administration and faculty.

A candidate in this position has an opportunity to be hugely impactful in the lives of young students and their educational development.

Schedule : In-person 1 : 1 or small group sessions from 9 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m. (EST) Exact days of the week are to be determined but you can expect to work 10-15 hours a week.

Requirements : At minimum a bachelor's degree Previous educational experience in working with students that have learning differences.

Previous educational experience working with small groups. Previous experience as a reading specialist or like duties is preferred.

30-minute commute or less to the Dover, DE area Skills Needed : Effective communication skills Highly organized People skills Adaptability Attention to detail.

Ability to record detailed documentation for each student on a daily basis.
