Accounting Clerk

Job Description:

As an Accounting Clerk, you are to support the accounting team offering administrative and bookkeeping assistance while confirming the accuracy of accounting database information. This is a full-time position with on-site attendance required, not remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable
• Collect and match all credit card receipts, code, and enter in system
• Filing. Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
• Audit customer billing to assure accuracy
• Prepare, update, and track spreadsheets as needed for rental tracking and billing discrepancies.
• Support with communications from customers with questions related to their billing.
• Support accounts receivable and follow up with customers on outstanding bills.
• Assist with month end procedures
• Cross-train to assist in supporting other accounting functions.
• Responsible for other accounting duties as deemed necessary by controller

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as accounting clerk
• Familiarity with office procedures and very basic accounting principles
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes
• Strong multi-tasker
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated listening and written/verbal communication
• Urgency in handling job responsibilities most efficient, effective way possible
• Problem-solving skills
• QuickBooks experience
• SAP experience (preferred)
• Service Titan Experience (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:

• $18.00-$24.00 per hour

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
