Have a strong desire to excel in the wine industry
Have previous experience with wine production, degree in viticulture, enology and science
Possess knowledge of chemistry skills needed to perform various wine production analysis
Knowledge of and commitment to observe safety procedures
Possess a strong work ethic and be willing to work long hours in & out of cellar environment
An understanding of how award winning wines are handcrafted
A detailed understanding of how each decision is made, to ensure that wines maintain the highest level of quality, from grapes to glass
Experience running basic chemistry, checking dissolved oxygen, densities, blending decisions
Must be 21 years old
Flexibility to work extended hours on weekends, evenings and holidays during harvest
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Proficient math skills
Basic computer skills for ordering supplies, email, spreadsheets
Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
Ability to work independently under general supervision
Ability to occasionally lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbs
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, lift, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach and stoop as needed, sometimes for extended periods
Ability to operate, climb and work at raised heights on scaffolding platforms
Willingness to work hard, get wet and dirty, and clean meticulously
