We are seeking a Business Intelligence/Systems Manager with expertise in business technology to lead our team in optimizing Business processes and growing our Salesforce platform. You will work with a team charged with developing and delivering capabilities to support business growth across BAE Systems, Inc. Electronic Systems (ES) sector. The successful candidate will effectively and confidently provide administrative, development and integration support across established and emerging business technologies and product applications including Salesforce. Ideal candidate will be pro-active, process-oriented, and results-driven individual able to effectively leverage technology to collaborate with team members. Work Location:
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. Based on multiple factors, remote work may be a possibility for this position, at the discretion of the business. Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities: * Work in conjunction with team members to maintain, design, architect, develop and improve business technology capabilities.
* Manage the evolution of business technology capabilities based on analysis and identification of key business needs, process standardization and automation opportunities. * Lead the implementation of business process improvement projects, including requirement gathering/discovery, design, development, testing, and delivery.
* Collaborate with business areas and functions to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes and ensure delivery/implementation of essential technology capabilities for cross-functional business processes.
* Provide recommendations for add-ons, features, functionality, and process improvements to existing platform(s) based on requirements and/or user experience enhancement.
* Transform internal customer and key business requirements into a high-level (architectural) solution or supporting model and progress to a final design and build solution with executable plan.
* Participate in the development and monitoring of project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. * Ensure compliance with business technology systems best practices, security guidelines, and industry standards.
* Obtain and manage software licenses for business technology products specific to Business Development in collaboration with business Information Technology groups.
* Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform to support business operations, focusing on scalability, efficiency and user experience. * Ensure the stability and scalability of Salesforce systems by performing and/or overseeing regular audits and preparing for upgrades. * Develop and provide training and support to Salesforce users across the organization and promote best practices in data management and system utilization. * Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into key business metrics and performance indicators. Reports and dashboards are hosted both within Salesforce and external utilizing data visualization platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
* Implement and manage Salesforce integrations with other business-critical data systems. * Field tech support requests and periodic hands-on system support. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education Required
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
* Salesforce Certifications required:
* Salesforce Certified Administrator
* Salesforce Platform Developer I
Experience Required
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Salesforce administration and development.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in project management. * Experience with Salesforce architecture and objects (standard and custom) as well as a solid understanding of platform technical requirements, system configuration, and user authorizations.
* Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, using various integration techniques and APIs.Skills Required
* Proficiency with Sales Cloud required.
* Organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
* Program management (requirement gathering/discovery, design, development, testing, and delivery) of multiple projects in various stages of planning and execution. * Project planning and documentation including defining key stakeholders, technical requirements, scope, deliverables, tasks, schedule, and budget.
* Communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and both lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Attention to detail and user experience awareness.
* Microsoft Office suite and data visualization software proficiency.
* General understanding of networking technologies. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Education Preferred
* Salesforce Certifications preferred: * Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator
* Salesforce Business Analyst
* Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Skills Preferred
* Strong analytical skills
* Proficient in implementing both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches and Scrum methodology.
* Proficiency with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud

Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
