The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a Quality Analyst with credentials as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
As a Quality Analyst: CWI, you will support on the 3rd shift and:
- Develop and write inspection plans.
- Read and work to blueprints.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
- Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
- Process non-conformances for disposition.
- Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.
- Perform welding inspections.
- 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
- 5/40 schedule
- Limited overtime as required
- Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 6 years related work experience (i.e. quality, inspection, welding, NDT, etc.), or an Associates Degree and 4 years related work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years related work experience, or the overall equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read, interpret and work to blueprints.
- Working knowledge in GD&T principles and applications.
- Ability to read and comprehend raw material specifications.
- Must be able to support 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM to 07:00 AM. Overtime as required.
- ORACLE MRP system.
- TIPQA.
- CMM.
- Laser Tracker/Faro inspection technology.
- DoD heavy manufacturing environment.
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
