The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a Quality Analyst with credentials as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
As a Quality Analyst: CWI, you will support on the 3rd shift and:
  • Develop and write inspection plans.
  • Read and work to blueprints.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
  • Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
  • Process non-conformances for disposition.
  • Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.
  • Perform welding inspections.
This Position Supports On The 3rd Shift
  • 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
  • 5/40 schedule
  • Limited overtime as required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 6 years related work experience (i.e. quality, inspection, welding, NDT, etc.), or an Associates Degree and 4 years related work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years related work experience, or the overall equivalent.
  • Must be a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, interpret and work to blueprints.
  • Working knowledge in GD&T principles and applications.
  • Ability to read and comprehend raw material specifications.
  • Must be able to support 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM to 07:00 AM. Overtime as required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • ORACLE MRP system.
  • TIPQA.
  • CMM.
  • Laser Tracker/Faro inspection technology.
  • DoD heavy manufacturing environment.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
