**Position Summary:**
BAE Systems is looking for a hands on Process Engineering Manager to be a contributor on our Microelectronics Manufacturing Center Microwave Factory. The current process engineering team is comprised of 12 engineers and 1 methods specialist.
**As a Process Engineering Manager you will make impacts in the following ways;**
Leading the group in the development of Non-recurring engineering (NRE) for several hardware programs that will be manufactured. This hardware includes microwave modules assembly and microelectronics assembly.
Team with other process engineering managers to provide a unified manufacturing approach across the Microwave Manufacturing Center.
Working with suppliers and design teams to assure designs are producible and maintainable. You will also be required to report out on quality, cost and delivery metrics to the leadership team and drive back actions to reduce defects.
Successful performance will require driving manufacturing process improvements, production problem resolutions, and integrating solutions into a lean manufacturing environment by working with the current Value Stream Supervisor (VSS) team in Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare (TACAIR).
The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite.
This specific position requires US citizenship status as well as the following:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Bachelor s degree in an Engineering Discipline and at least 8-10 years of electronics engineering experience.
At least 5 years of engineering management experience.
Strong leadership, people skills, judgement and problem solving capabilities.
The ability to collaborate with other functions is crucial to success, some these functions include: supply chain, quality (inspectors, manufacturing product assurance (MPAs), etc.), program office, and new product introduction (NPI) engineering as well as the product engineering team and ESS team within TACAIR.
Active security clearance and ability to maintain
Previous leadership experience in a high technology environment
Familiarity with Mil-Standards: Mil-STD-883, IPC-610, and soldering standards that help assemble semiconductors into complex microelectronic integrated microwave modules
Capable of becoming a team member of the process engineering organization and exhibiting leadership skills that serve the needs of the process engineers and the management staff of the factory.
This position will combine management responsibilities with task management where needed.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Experience in Microelectronics in accordance with Mil-STD-883 and Mil-Prf-38534 preferred.
Experience in automation implementation.
Experience with AS9100 and AS9145 standards is a plus.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
