Job Description
BAE is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior TEMPEST person to be part of a team performing TEMPEST testing and provide TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nation's systems and equipment.
You'll get to work onsite with the customer, integrated into their team to ensure mission success. You will be responsible for developing procedures, plans, and the execution of various TEMPEST activities.
This position requires deep knowledge in the TEMPEST field and be a Certified Tempest Professional (CTP-II). Test procedures and testing will be in accordance with current Government specifications and the National TEMPEST Standard.
Support activities will include requirements capture and interpretation, design support, authoring control plans and qualification test procedures, overseeing qualification testing, capturing and analyzing qualification test data and results, and approving qualification test reports.
Some travel may be required (minimal).
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
This includes lab detection system test equipment is in calibration and is operating correctly.
Also, one must be an effective multitasker, meet schedule commitments, and record and accurately communicate test results or test related concerns in reports for delivery to the government and industry organizations.
Experience in leading teams, supervision, and running programs. Which includes the ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Desired Skills / Experience / Certifications) :
This also includes experience using risk management for mission related efforts (balancing security measures with operational requirements).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Typical Education & Experience : A Bachelor’s Engineering or Technology degree in related specialized technical area / field and have 10 years of work experience in area / field or equivalent experience.
CTP Level II certified is required.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $140690 - $239140

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
