TITLE:  Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 

LOCATION: Lake City, MN

SCHEDULE: 60 hours every 2 weeks | 12-hour shifts | Week 1 = 2 shifts, Week 2 = 3 shifts. Day/Night rotation, every 3rd weekend.

PAY:  $38.00 - $48.00 Hour DOE

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

SUMMARY: The licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning.
2. Participates as a member of the health care team and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting needs of the patient/family. 
3. Delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
2. Current LPN license by applicable state requirements.
3. One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred. 
4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
5. Inpatient Experience.
