Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing general accounting tasks, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, technical accounting, and general ledger accounting. You must have expereince in Quickbooks Online.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees

- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling transactions and performing account analysis

- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information

Skills:

- Proficient in technical accounting procedures and principles

- Strong knowledge of payroll processing

- Experience with general ledger accounting and account analysis

- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations

- Familiarity with financial report writing

- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage or similar programs

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
