Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within the company, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and strong leadership skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Cross-Functional Project Prioritization
- Work closely with department heads to identify and prioritize projects based on company goals and strategic initiatives.
- Balance resource allocation and project timelines to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate team meetings, manage project tasks, and provide guidance to team members.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and team members
- Risk Management
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans to address risks
- Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Comply with safety regulations, including Occupational Safety & Health Administration guidelines.
- Adhere to environmental regulations, ensuring projects are executed with minimal environmental impact and in accordance with local, state, and federal laws
- Uphold food safety and quality standards, including compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and other relevant food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular project evaluations and implement improvements as needed to maintain compliance and enhance safety and quality standards.
- Acquisitions
- Lead the planning and execution of major acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition management.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful integration of acquired entities.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the food manufacturing industry or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software.

- Primarily office-based with expectation of traveling to other office location

Work Hours
- Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Flexibility required for production schedule and deadlines.
Travel
- Travel will be determined based on the location of the projects
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
