We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to negotiate contracts and control costs effectively.

Position Overview :

The Estimator / Project Manager at ATCO will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and managing HVAC projects from initiation to completion. You will play a key role in both pricing and executing the projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Estimating :

Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Calculate and itemize labor, material, and equipment costs for HVAC systems.
Prepare and present competitive bids, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
Conduct job site assessments to gather accurate project information.

Project Management :

Oversee HVAC projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor project progress, address challenges, and maintain clear communication with clients.

Ensure all projects meet safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.

Provide exceptional customer service and manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in HVAC estimating and project management (3 years preferred).

Solid understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and industry costs.

Proficient in using estimating software and project management tools.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites in the Newburyport, MA area.
