A very successful VC backed technology business based in Edinburgh is recruiting a Finance Director reporting to the MD and managing a team.
The Finance Director role will have a broad and varied responsibilities. This role will involve FD leads the finance team and drives financial operations with emphasis on maintenance of data integrity, budgeting, audit, cashflow, production of financial statements and reports, monitoring and maintaining internal controls, while overseeing financial systems and relevant internal and external compliance requirements. You will demonstrate the ability to deliver insightful reporting and analysis to guide commercial decision making and drive performance. You will work with senior colleagues in the business, including various ad hoc strategic projects.
The successful Finance Director candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) and show ability to lead and build a finance function. The successful candidate will ideally come from a VC back ground.
The role will be hybird working but will need to come in to Edinburgh one day a week. This role will be paying between £100,000 - £110,000 and benefits.
