**Take ownership for the safety and support of our equipment**

As a Mechanical Assembler you will perform a variety of unique and semi-repetitive precision assembly operations on our Panametrics and LUMEN Terrain product lines.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:

* Following all manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOP)

* Reading and interpret mechanical schematics

* Assembling parts and using handheld power tools

* Owning inventory controls within assigned work center, including cycle counting

* Working within time constraints; understand the sense of urgency; handle multiple tasks simultaneously

* Interface with other work cell employees, engineers, and management to ensure product quality

* Performing misc. duties as assigned by the Cell or Operations Leader

* Comply with all Quality, HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), and Work Rules

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

* Have a High School Diploma / GED

* Have intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, & Excel)

* Be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs

* Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

* Be flexible to work overtime when needed - including weekends

* Be able to consistently push, pulling, lift, stretch, bend and other physical activities

Desired Characteristics

* 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical training

* Excellent communication ability needed to work in a small team

* Demonstrated teamwork ability and interpersonal skills

* Previous ERP system experience, SAP preferred
