Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership
We are seeking a passionate sales support professional for the Natural channel based in the Eastern US. The Sales Support Retail Merchandiser role will work with key retail accounts to maximize Bakery on Main's in-store profile. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales. All business activities must be done in a way that underscores the company mission of Bakery on Main's. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sales organization of a CPG/Food company, food broker, or from the retail side of the business.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage small to mid-size retail chain promotions and new item presentations.
• Be a brand ambassador for Bakery on Main and Uncle Crumbles via demo's and community events.
• Provide support for Plan-O-Gram resets, store remodels, POP/ POS placement, data collection and new placement at all accounts.
• Sell in case stack deals.
• Expand distribution in every natural account and ensure all sales initiatives are executed from bottom up.
• Increase secondary placement at key accounts.
• Organize, rotate and stock shelves during each visit.
• Assist Regional Manager and broker partners with distributor shows and managing retail and brokers within assigned region.
• Cross-functional interaction: Sales, Marketing, Consumer Relations, Customer Service,

R &D, Operations.

• Reporting of weekly activity, monthly expenses, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory.
• Reporting of Daily activities using a tablet or computer, submitting upon completion of each day.
• All business activities must be done in a way that underscores the social mission of the Bakery on Main brand.
• Regional Merchandiser Geography includes ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, NJ, RI and part of NY.
• Some overnight travel may be necessary.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required, sales or marketing experience, and a valid driver's license.

• Be comfortable with change. We are a growing company where roles and responsibilities adjust from time to time based on the needs of the business.
• Be able to work independently and have an outgoing personality with a "can do" attitude.
• Excel, Power Point, Word proficiency.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required, sales or marketing experience, and a valid driver's license.

Position Location This position is based out of our East Hartford, CT location, travel is required.
