Job Summary

As a V&V Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with the engineering team to identify, analyze, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Job Responsibilities

· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and hardware products.

· Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to verify product requirements.

· Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects using issue tracking systems.

· Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

· Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other engineering activities to ensure testability and quality.

· Develop and maintain test documentation, including test specifications, test reports, and test matrices.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

· Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance..

Requirements

Education Requirements

BS degree in a related science or technology field of study 

Experience Requirements

· 3 years professional experience in device firmware development.

· Proven experience in software and hardware verification and validation testing.

· Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Extensive experience owning quality and testing applications end to end.

· Experience interpreting project requirements/specifications, proposing testing strategies and identifying risks.

· Experience developing and maintaining test plans and testing methods that assess product functionality and performance.

· Extensive experience in executing tests, in documenting results and in helping to diagnose problems.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical information in a clear and accurate manner.

· Must have high attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.

· Ability to quickly learn new software/hardware tools for developing and executing tests.

· Ability to work with minimum supervision both independently and collaboratively.

· Experience testing embedded applications and connected devices.

· Experience in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar backlog/tracking tools.

· Experience in creating automated test scripts and knowledge of automated test tools is a plus.
