Baldwin School

Maria L. Baldwin School Community:

Baldwin strives to deliver a welcoming, inclusive, and joyful learning environment that supports every student in taking risks, learning, and reaching their full potential; while building community, individual responsibility, and self-confidence.

We expect our teachers to be life-long learners who are committed excellence in academics, and who are committed to partnering with parents and thinking about social-emotional learning just as much as academic learning.

Technology and expanded arts instruction are integrated into teaching and learning at Baldwin, so that students can become experts in using technology and creative expression to learn and explore.

We work hard to be a community that provides joy, belonging, challenge and growth to every Baldwin student every day. We are also a strong community of adult learners.

All candidates must be open to engaging in conversations about the intersection between race and education__critical conversations that ground our improvement efforts.
