Balfour Beatty Management, Inc. located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, is seeking a Tax Intern to support management in our North American Tax Headquarters. This position requires the ability to work as part of a team as well as deliver results. Candidate must proactively take ownership of projects.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of income, partnership and franchise tax returns and supporting workpapers, as well as amended returns of minor complexity.
- Help analyze and reconcile OneSource cash tax reports to operating company’s G/L.
- Assist in the preparation and review of depreciation expense schedules.
- Maintain tax calendar and fixed asset system.
- Investigate and resolve state tax notices.
- Collect data to assist management and operating company personnel with tax audits.
- Help research state and local tax rules for project bid requests.
- Strong analytical skills are required along with the ability to work both independently and in a group environment.
- Pursuing BS in accounting/finance – currently in their sophomore or junior year.
- Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- PC skills utilizing Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
