Summary
Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Carpenter Foreman. The Carpenter Foreman activities are coordinated with the Project Manager and/or the Superintendent to maintain productivity of the jobsite.
Essential Functions
- Constructing scaffold.
- Performing rough formwork.
- Constructing gang ladders.
- Constructing slab box outs, set sleeves.
- Layout and installation of wall blocking.
- Installation of roof blocking.
- Hanging and finishing drywall.
- Floor leveling.
- Caulking.
- Patching patch hollow metal doors and frames (bondo).
- Installing fire safing (isolations) and smoke seal.
- Managing several crews of laborers and carpenters.
- Mentoring and support development of subordinates.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required.
- A minimum of 4 years or more in a laborer, carpenter, or foreman role.
- Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools, and equipment, and methods and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of reading blueprints.
Preferred Experience
- Training in OSHA10-hour.
- CPR/First Aid Training.
