Bally's Corporation is Hiring an EVS - Harness Racing Seasonal Near Dover, DE
Major FocusCleans and maintains the property’s harness racing paddock, Ship-in barn & racing areas. Essential Functions
Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
Mucks Paddock and Barn stalls
Cleans restrooms, Drivers room locker room
Handles wood chips/straw bales
Assists with bridge removal cleanup
Uses cleaning chemicals & equipment as instructed
Uses safety equipment as required
Communicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.
Executes daily cleaning projects.
Collects/secures lost-and-found articles.
Restocks storage closets daily.
Trains new employees as needed.
Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Ballys Downs employees to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
Represents Bally’s Dover Casino and Resort in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
Control inventory of supplies.
Maintains knowledge of the property.
Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, as well as reducing costs.
Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.
Provides exceptional customer service

Requirements/Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
Must be able to understand and communicate in English and possess good communication skills.
Must be friendly and cooperative.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be reliable and have initiative.
Good judgement and common sense.
Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
