About the Position

As an Advertising Account Manager, you will ensure the successful execution of our advertising contracts, focusing on charting, post-sale processes, and managing operator accounts, including private vessel operators and state and government organizations. Your goal is to streamline operations, ensure successful campaigns, and drive client retention and repeat business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage post-sale processes, ensuring all aspects of campaign execution are seamless and efficient.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and internal processes for advertising operations.
  • Optimize and automate post-sale workflows using HubSpot CRM and other tools.
  • Manage inventory, handling requests, holds, and media plans.
  • Act as a liaison for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) for seamless campaign execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance, provide insights, proof of performance, and handle escalations.
  • Manage both digital and static posting, coordinating with content schedulers and printing partners.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Ballyhoo Media’s business model and media products.
  • Gather client feedback and collaborate with product development to improve offerings.
  • Develop strategies to maintain high client retention rates and oversee renewals.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks to internal teams.
  • Handle operator accounts, including private vessel operators and state and government organizations.

What Experience or Skills are Needed?

  • 2-4 years of experience in advertising operations, account management, sales coordination, and/or agency experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience in advertising or media industries, preferably in OOH (out-of-home) advertising
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in fostering client relationships and ensuring satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as HubSpot, and data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management tools
  • Ability to timely and accurately enter and compile data
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across markets and assets
  • High level of organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
