Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Admission Counselor to join our dynamic Admissions team. The Admission Counselor will be responsible for recruiting prospective students, guiding them through the application process, and assisting with enrollment efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for higher education, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Outreach: Develop and implement admission strategies to attract prospective students, including attending fairs, hosting information sessions, and conducting outreach through phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Counseling & Guidance: Provide individualized counseling to prospective students and their families regarding admissions requirements, program offerings and student life. Answer inquiries, offer guidance on applications, and support students in making informed decisions about their education.
- Application Review: Assist in reviewing applications for admissions, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, test scores, and essays, ensuring that applicants meet university requirements.
- Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of admissions events, such as open houses, tours, webinars, and on-campus visits.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions, applications, and follow-up actions in the admissions database.
- Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure a smooth admissions process and provide feedback on recruitment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; additional experience in higher education, sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or advising is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with prospective students and families.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for higher education and an understanding of the admissions process.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary for recruitment events and travel.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
