The Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City seeks candidates for Help Desk Technician positions to provide support services to attorneys handling dockets in the Circuit and District Courts of Maryland. The position will be located at 120 East Baltimore Street in Baltimore, Maryland.

What is a Help Desk Technician?

As a Help Desk Technician, you will provide Tier 1 support to our customers via phone, email and computer chat. You will ask appropriate questions and use knowledge and resources to diagnose and resolve their issues. You will escalate issues that extend beyond Tier I span of control.
You are the ideal candidate if you have an Associate's degree in information technology and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a help desk environment. Proficiency with MAC and IOS computers is a must as is the ability to work a variety of shifts and work overtime on an occasional regular basis. You need to be a highly detail oriented and analytical individual to accurately capture customer interactions and close out submitted trouble tickets in a timely manner.

We do an interview and testing prior to extending an offer. Must pass a criminal background check.

Salary:

$ 53,065 - $64,495 starting salary plus benefits
