As an IT Healthcare Systems Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the effective implementation and utilization of advanced medical technologies within our healthcare organization. Specializing in Clinical Applications PACS Administration, you will be the key liaison between technology and clinical practice, ensuring seamless integration for improved patient care and staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
What you'll be doing, including but not limited to:

• Imaging Request Management
  
  • Efficiently manage all imaging requests to and from BAMF, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer.
  • Upload images for research purposes and clinical trials, adhering to established protocols.
• Application Support
  
  • Provide expert application support, particularly with Change Health, to enhance the functionality and performance of clinical applications.
  • Handle inquiries related to research imaging requests, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
• User Permissions and System Maintenance:
  
  • Maintain and manage user permissions within clinical application systems, ensuring appropriate access levels.
  • Perform routine system maintenance for relevant IT clinical systems to guarantee optimal performance.
• Enterprise Imaging Network Management
  
  • Establish new connections with hospital partners to expand and optimize the Enterprise Imaging Network.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) to retrieve images from PACS to the camera.
• HL7 Integration and Data Management
  
  • Link HL7 integration between Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and camera systems, ensuring seamless data flow to PACS/Camera.
  • Facilitate ongoing initiatives for multivendor integration with partners such as GE, United Imaging, Change Health, and Athena.

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Clinical Applications PACS Administration or a similar healthcare IT role.
• In-depth knowledge of medical technologies, including PACS, HL7, Starguide, GE, and related systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Experience with Enterprise Imaging Network management and data integration.
