About Worcester Partnership Program
The Worcester Partnership is a year-round journey for rising first through ninth graders from Worcester Public Schools. The program consists of a four-week summer component in which students join us on the Bancroft School campus during the month of July. Each day combines the challenge and excitement of academics in the morning, with the spirit of lively camp activities in the afternoon. In addition, there are 8 to 10 weeks of Saturday Learning Activities during the school year.
The mission of the Worcester Partnership is to provide students (12 per grade) from various Worcester Schools with a safe, caring environment to meet the ever-changing needs of children and their families. The initial participation sets the stage for a nine-year support mechanism for selected, low-income-family children from Worcester's Public Schools. The program addresses summer learning loss with a goal of uninterrupted skill development for the challenges of the year ahead.
