Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples
- Take and develop radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings and extractions
- Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitoring of patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pet care, including nutrition, grooming, and exercise requirements
- Familiarity with equine care and handling techniques
- Understanding of animal physiology and anatomy
- Proficiency in veterinary critical care procedures
- Ability to safely restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
- Experience as a veterinary technician or equivalent training
- Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in veterinary terminology
