**Job Description:**
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our animal patients. **Responsibilities:**
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments.
- Providing compassionate care and handling of animals.
- Preparing exam rooms and surgical suites for procedures.
- Performing laboratory tests and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
- Administering medications and treatments under the direction of veterinarians.
- Educating clients on proper animal care and preventive health measures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the clinic environment.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and updating medical records.
- Contributing to a positive work culture by fostering teamwork and communication.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in veterinary assisting preferred.
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is a plus.
