Secretary to the Assistant Superintendent – Central Office Anticipated
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred. Prior work experience will also be considered. 2. Training and successful experience in office practices, methods, and procedures; strong command of word processing, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite; exceptional organizational skills; high attention to detail, and skilled operation of office equipment. 3. Typing, grammar usage, and spelling knowledge equivalent to an experienced executive secretary or administrative assistant. 4. Proficiency in performing complex word-processing tasks and in creating, maintaining, and efficiently accessing word documents, spreadsheets, and databases. 5. Proficiency in managing payments to institutions/businesses that participate in third-party billing; working with venders; assisting in budget preparation 6. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with administrators, staff, and the general public. 7. Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality. 8. Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work consistently and under time constraints. 9. MaineCare and Title experience is preferred, but will train. 10. Must be able to manage a busy office with professionalism and efficiency. This position is in person – remote work is not available. 11. Twelve-month position
