This position requires a very careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will perform a wide range of marketing and communication tasks. You will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of a weekly project status report and calendar that allows the marketing team to effectively and efficiently track and communicate status of all active marketing projects, thoroughly proofread internal and external communications, and assist in gathering and publishing content on company website, intranet, and social media channels. You will conduct secondary research on financial or banking topics to aid in competitive brand tracking, understanding of client insight, and assist with the dissemination of marketing information throughout the organization via appropriate channels.
Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator manages the internal Marketing email inbox to support our teammates across the organization in their goals to grow deposits, loans, and fee income. You will also be responsible for submitting invoices and keeping track of our budgeted expenses. You will assist in monitoring our websites ensuring links are working, correcting any spelling errors and updating content as directed. You will also monitor company social media pages and provide regular reporting on page activity to leadership, maintain knowledge of current technologies and social trends and make recommendations for improvements/advancements. You will also work to build rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, or up to 2 years of relevant job experience in marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, and editing experience, which includes an aptitude for grammar, style and business writing.
Desired Qualifications: To be considered an i deal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:
  • Relevant job experience in marketing, social media, or graphic design.
  • Basic knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • InDesign and Photoshop program experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms for website editing and publishing content.
Skills and Abilities: Below is a general list of desired skills and abilities; this is not an exhaustive list .
  • Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to gather, interpret and present information and results gathered from online and social measurement platforms Google Analytics, etc).
  • Must be able to work minimal overtime when events warrant
  • Initiative to keep projects moving forward; self-starter
  • Ability to take design direction from multiple parties
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
