Global Transactional FX is an integral part of Bank of America's Global Payment Solutions (GPS) product suite. In addition to FX hedging products, Bank of America offers extensive services to help companies make and receive cross-border payments quickly and securely. Bank of America’s clients can access a range of solutions to simplify cross-border payments, including multi-currency payment, local currency payment, cross-border payment and cross-currency receivables. In addition, the Bank offers its clients several channels for initiating FX transactions quickly and easily. FX is an important component of the GPS Payments and Receipts capabilities and together they form part of the clients payment efficiency and treasury cash management strategy.”

Responsibilities

  • This job is responsible for generating ideas on best practices for new products and assisting in the review of product development requirements. Key responsibilities include providing advice to Sales teams on product related questions, providing ongoing problem resolution to global subsidiaries concerned with bank accounts, credit requirements, and associated bank systems, and monitoring bank performance and service levels in conjunction with operational support areas. Job expectations include assisting in solution opportunities for strategic clients in Global Product Services.

  • Supports the identification and creation of plans for product development, supporting the creation of sales training programs, and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities

  • Supports the development of the product strategy to drive products in cash management and provide comprehensive solutions across the bank, while communicating with Sales Officers to address pricing questions and/or issues from the Sales team

  • Understands product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape to provide awareness of trends to sales and marketing teams

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates

  • Reviews and prices products and services in partnership with Product managers, analyzing the profitability of the client and/or specific services, and recommending solutions to clients

  • Collaborates with internal technology subject matter experts and researches product-related trends in order to provide an integrated and automated client experience

  • As a GPS FX Product Manager, the candidate will be responsible for partnering with FX Product Sales, GPS Sales, Client Coverage and GFX to continue to grow GPS and TFX revenue aligned to the products managed

  • This candidate will directly manage the International Pay to Card product within the Transactional FX product suite. Looking after the core strategy, sales approach and global rollout of the solution.

  • Help to develop the multi-year go forward strategy across the product suite, in addition to helping to define and execute on the cross product multi-year investment strategy and approach.

  • Work across product lines and LOB to expand the FX product suite

  • Help to drive revenue and notional volume growth through the creation of growth strategies inclusive of marketing campaigns, sales collateral and internal/external product education

  • Represent BofA as a firm and GPS as a business at industry conferences and act as a practitioner during product webinars and lunch & learn sessions

  • Develop client level analytics by client, country, region and product as well as perform research to understand industry trends.

  • Develop and execute platform roadmap in partnership with regional product, technology and operations

  • Development of business cases (revenue/cost reduction/market share) to invest in product enhancements/product extensions

  • Work closely with FX sales and GPS sales partners to design sale pitches, attend sales calls and provide detailed product expertise

  • Must work with globally-based sales and product managers to promote cross-currency payments capabilities and pursue marquee deals, including coordination with regionally-based product executives in developing, implementing and promoting required capabilities. 

  • Participate in and drive industry dialogue on pertinent FX payment topics to ensure BAML’s and our clients’ interests are appropriately represented
