Banko Overhead Doors has been serving West Central Florida since 1984, providing residential and commercial garage door products and services in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Polk, Orange and Hernando Counties. We are currently seeking experienced Full-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will facilitate and process payroll for the company. They will also perform a variety of administrative support work for the HR department. This role will need to be reliable, detailed-oriented, organized, and motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner. The selected candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Director.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll
  1. Daily check in of payroll
  2. Verify payroll for accuracy
  3. Follow up on missing timesheets
• Set up & maintain deductions
• Process pay & status changes
• Process wage garnishments
• Process working interview checks
• Maintain payroll records electronically
• Process time off requests and manage time off calendar
• Compiles data for payroll reporting time off and overtime reports
  1. Provides weekly & monthly reporting to managers
• Subject matter expert on all things ADP
• General administrative support to the HR departments
  1. Assisting with onboarding
  2. Entering new hires in ADP

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• 3 year of experience with payroll processing & HR preferred.
• Proficient working in ADP Workforce Now.
• Associates degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience in Payroll/HR Field.

• Works independently with a sense of urgency and exceptional customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
