The Registered Nurse manages individualized, goal?directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. This Nurse is cross-trained to function in circulator role or recovery role for cases in the GE Lab, Pain Management and Bronchs; must be credentialed to administer conscious sedation during aforementioned procedures under the direction of the physician.

The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required on the Gulf Breeze Hospital and Baptist Hospital campuses, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure in the State of Florida.
• BLS through American Heart Association
• ACLS through American Heart Association within 90 days of employment/transfer
• NIH within 90 days of employment/transfer Demonstrated proficiency in critical care nursing, knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to return to the hospital/facility within 30 minutes of a Callback.
