Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Ultrasound Department at Baptist South. A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of the bodies organs and tissue. This is a PRN, various shifts, position. Participation in call and holiday rotation is required. Candidate MUST be RVT certified.

Baptist Medical Center was awarded Ultrasound Acrreditation Program by the American College of Radiology.

This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be responsible for the following:

* Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.

* Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.

* Staying compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

* Identifing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
