The Manager of Advanced Practice Providers plans, innovates, coordinates, directs and evaluates programs and services to ensure alignment with the philosophy, objectives and policies of BHSF. In collaboration with the executive team, leaders and physicians to ensure program alignment. The manager demonstrates evidence of ability to draw and implement the knowledge from clinical areas such as: clinical practice guidelines, evidence based best practices, fiscal management, healthcare evaluation, outcome measures, performance excellence and patient safety. The manager demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the allocation of available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care. The APP manager provides leadership, clinical management and administrative oversight of Advance Practice Provider teams. Will also lead specific programs, develop and provides oversight of direct reports. Clinical and/or surgical coverage (if Hospital credentialed) may be required as per specialty specific needs. Estimated salary range for this position is $131853.24 - $175364.81 / year depending on experience.
Degrees: Masters Licenses & Certifications: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Basic Life Support NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant Additional Qualifications: 8 Years or more as an APRN/PA including 2 Years or more as a Supervisor of Advanced Practice. Florida Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician Assistant. Must comply with state of Florida requirements for CME and licensure renewal. ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as per specialty/function. DEA-Drug Enforcement Administration License required as per specialty/function. If APRN requires hospital inpatient medical staff privileges and does not have an acute care certification, refer to BHSF Policy 701 titled Educational and training requirements to be credentialed to work in an acute care setting for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
