The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice and Baptist Health and Crossbridge policies and procedures. This will include administration of medications, reporting of patient symptoms, and conditions to the Registered Nurse. The LPN is also responsible for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health and Crossbridge. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Description
  • Completion of an accredited LPN course. License / Certification: Active LPN license required. BLS required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department. Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
