Baptist Health is Hiring a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse - Cath Lab 7 am Near Paducah, KY

Job Description:
Cardiac Cath Lab, Procedure Nurse - RN
The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients, participates in patient education and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the Cardiovascular department.
4 - 10 hours shifts with on call rotation
On call hours are rotated evenly between staff for evenings, weekends and holidays.
First shift: 0700-1730
  • Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients, participates in patient education and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the Cardiovascular department.
  • Assists with patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to cardiac, peripheral, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures performed.
  • These procedures may occur within the Cardiovascular Department and / or Hybrid lab in Surgery Department.
Requirements
  • Current licensure recognized by Kentucky Board of Nursing is required.
  • Employee maintains and renews all required certifications.
