Job Description:
Are you ready to lead a team to excellence in nursing care? As the Nursing Department Director, you'll spearhead operations and programs across critical areas that specialize in CABG patients. With 24/7 accountability, you'll drive staff recruitment, performance reviews, and budget management. Your focus on evidence-based practice ensures top-notch patient outcomes while fostering collaboration across departments. 4H is a 23-bed telemetry unitt. These units specialize in post-op CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) patients, post-op cardiac surgery, CHF and moderate risk chest pain patients. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensed issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
  • Prior experience leading teams specialize in post-op CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) patients, post-op cardiac surgery, CHF and moderate risk chest pain patients.
