The Occupational Health Nurse performs new and annual health screening and follow up of work related illnesses and injuries, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, both federal and state, and collaborates with Infection Control, facility Safety Committee. Workers Compensation, etc. and ensure a safe working environment. Description
  • Valid AL RN license, BSN preferred. Prior experience in Occupational health preferred. Three to five years hospital based experience required. Work is continuously physically and frequently emotionally demanding. Must be able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to cope with stressful situations. Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses and counsel employees, volunteers, students on safety and health issues.
