Job Description:
Shift Varies
The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of care for patients under the direction and supervision of an LPN or Registered Nurse. Care that is given is appropriate to the age of the patient from adult to geriatric.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, or higher.
  • BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Six months experience in a nursing home preferred (experience may be substituted for certified nursing assistant education).
