Bar None Auction is looking to hire an operations manager to oversee the auction yard in Fontana California. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally between the yard operations and inside inventory management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with construction machinery, commercial trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Experience managing people and building a team for receiving and delivery of construction related products.
• Manage the day to day deliveries, park and organize equipment and vehicles in auction yard.
• Prepare performance review and reevaluate processes to ensure efficiency and company growth.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and safety procedures are established at the site and followed by the staff.
• Manage fleet of forklifts and fleet vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
• Dispatch delivery drivers daily, building accurate loads for shipping and receiving of construction machinery.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing a commercial fleet, construction yard, equipment dealership or rental yard.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Driven personality with ability to lead a crew of people in a fast paced environment.
• Equipment operating experience, mechanical aptitude to identify methods for repairs of equipment.
• Computer proficiency to input data into CRM and inventory program on a daily / hourly basis.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment to accurately perform inspection reports.
