Job Description: Work under the supervision of a physical therapist and assist in the planning and implementation of therapeutic activities in the school setting to allow students to access the classroom environment and school curriculum. Job duties include assisting students with performing exercises and stretching treatments prescribed by the physical therapist, assisting students with using devices and equipment in the school setting, lifting/positioning students, and documenting student progress according to their individualized education plans. Collaboration with stakeholders such as general education teachers, special education teachers, evaluation team and parents is also a necessary skill.
Duty Days: 2 days/week (8 hours/day)
Start Date: August, 2024
Salary:
Minimum: 65.00/hour
Qualifications:
Appropriate state licensure is required.
