Wilmington, DEAs a Barclays User Experience Designer, your accountabilities include creating & implementing UX designs for USBC credit cards and initiating project & supporting the Experience Design team. You’ll work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure final design output meets the needs of the organization & its customers. This is an opportunity to help create & improve consumer applications for both web & mobile experiences and take product from incubation to production as you influence the user experience.

What will you be doing?
  • Managing and helping with all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation to creative conceptualization and design
  • Analyzing research findings to inform design direction
  • Developing cohesive design plans, concepts, and prototypes in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Evaluating new design ideas or concepts and design critiques
  • Assisting with research activities based on project requirements
  • Helping with the facilitation of brainstorming, stakeholder workshops, and other collaborative sessions with multidisciplinary teams and clients

What We’re Looking For
  • Ability to design high-impact products and services while working closely with researchers, designers, client stakeholders, and key partners
  • Ability to build a deep understanding of our client's business, their customers, and culture
  • Experience with synthesizing data from research studies and translating them into actionable opportunity areas
  • Experience with producing journey maps, workflow diagrams, conceptual designs, and interactive prototypes towards client needs and outcomes
