Compensation: $90,000 - $135,000 bonuses great benefits
Responsibilities
•Develop and execute a detailed case strategy designed to obtain a client's ideal results
•Review, revise, and approve all pleadings drafted by a paralegal
•Draft and prepare pleadings
•Prepare for and attend mediations and depositions
•Negotiate settlement agreements
•Review discovery requests and responses
•Prepare for and represent clients during status conferences, motion hearings, temporary hearings, final hearings, etc.
•Draft parenting plans, settlement agreements, child support worksheets, marital balance sheets, final orders, etc.
•Conduct legal research
•Ensure each client is well informed throughout every stage of their case
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for our Senior Family Law Associate position MUST:
•Have family law experience
•Have exceptional legal writing skills and legal research skills
•Be a confident, detail-oriented, self-directed, self-starter, and decisive leader
•Be compassionate, accountable, and coachable
•Be able to develop and execute a detailed case strategy designed to obtain a client's ideal results
•Be able to competently work a case (whether it be a simple uncontested divorce to a highly contested divorce with children and marital assets) from beginning to end
•Have trial experience
•Be organized with laser focus
•Be able to follow systems and adhere to policies and procedures
•Be able to manage deadlines and prioritize your caseload
