At Barn & Home Veterinary Clinic we provide quality care for livestock and pets. We are mobile-only, meaning we do not have a brick-and-mortar clinic. We provide wellness exams, vaccines, preventative medicine, basic diagnostics, and surgery services. We are committed to the best care and management regardless of species. What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our mobile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills. Additionally, we are looking for someone with good writing skills, and a desire to learn new things. The candidate needs to work well in a fast paced environment and take direction well.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Check-in and check-out clients
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Assist Veterinarian with patient restraint
• Be respectful to patient and clients
• Clearly communicate with team members, clients, and veterinarian
• Be able to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods
• Be comfortable in all weather situations
• Make safety the top priority in all situations

Schedule:

• Part time
• 3 consecutive days a week
• Approximately 8 hour days
• No Weekends
