POSITION: Before and After School Day Care Assistant

JOB GOAL: To assist the teacher in implementing a structured day care program involving learning and physical activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of college
Current first aid and CPR certification

REPORTS TO: Day care teacher and Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implement a structured daily program for students attending day care that includes learning activities and physical activities.
2. Maintain written reports on children documenting medical, safety, and/or discipline problems.
3. Responsible for following the school’s program descriptions and procedures.
4. Communicates effectively with staff and families.
5. Responsible for the safety and supervision of all students.

TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: School Year; before and/or after school

PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour
