Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Interest in and understanding of child growth and development.
Performance Responsibilities
- Consider each child’s welfare and safety during recess, on the playground, and in the lunchroom.
- Model positive behavior to promote cooperation and learning among students.
- Communicate school rules effectively to children
- Work cooperatively with teaching staff and other school assistants.
- Circulate the playground or lunchroom and use problem solving strategies to prevent squabbles.
- Assist teachers with general clerical duties.
- Work under the direction of the principal.
