We are currently looking to fill an Accounts Payable position with a company in Oklahoma City, OK.This role is crucial and requires a trustworthy, professional, analytical, and positive individual with over five years of experience in a corporate environment. The candidate must be proficient with advanced technology and familiar with workflow software such as SAP or JD Edwards, with specific use of E-Automate being advantageous. The position involves processing over 1700 invoices monthly, managing an extensive general ledger, and handling the reconciliation and management of approximately 70 corporate credit cards. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables and formulas, are necessary.
Hours: 8a-5p.
Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE.

- Spearheads the Accounts Payable workflow software to deliver an AP process that is smooth, simple, timely and accurate - every transaction, every time.
- Collaborates with owners, management, and other department associates to ensure best practices of financial authorization and control are maintained.
- Monitors and maintains processes to ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Manages corporate credit card platform, 80 users.
- Posts Accounts Payable transactions to multi-layered general ledger.
- Prepares weekly check and ACH run of over 150 payments per week.
- Responsible for annual property tax returns, and monthly/quarterly use tax filings.
- Establishes positive relationships with vendor contacts, maintains accurate records to ensure smooth purchase and timely shipping of goods & services.
- Drives process improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Accounting or Business Degree preferred, associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years’ hands on experience processing accounts payable for a large corporate organization.
- Working knowledge of standard accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows Operating System.
